Charming tiny hens are incredibly quick and easy to whip up, and they’re the perfect size to be used as finger puppets or fun covers for small chocolate eggs – little ones will be delighted to find a tasty treat underneath, and you could even whip up a few for a mini Easter egg hunt.

Size of finished chick: 10cm x 8 cm

Requires 8ply\DK yarn in 4 shades and 4mm knitting needles and 2mm.  If you don’t have 2mm needles, simply use the smallest needles you have and cast on fewer stitches.
