BABY CABLED CARDIGAN FOR SIZE 3 – 6 MONTHS

Soft and delicate cardigan for baby made in super soft Go Handmade Tencel/bamboo yarn.  Soft and gentle on baby skin.

Size 3 mths.: 75 g Go Handmade Tencel (Double thread)

Size 6 mths.: 225 g Go Handmade Tencel (Double thread)

Tension with 3,5 mm (Double thread): 26 sts = 10 cm

Yarn lengths are guideline only.

Materials: Yarn – Go Handmade Tencel/Bamboo Fine yarn to make cardigan as shown in image (3 months x 4 skeins, or 6 months x 5 skeins)

Circular knitting needle 3,5 mm

Tencel Bamboo Fine is a delicate and soft yarn, with a silky sheen.

The yarn is amazingly delicious, and feels beautiful in the hands, whilst knitting or crocheting.
In addition, the yarn is strong and holds its shape.
If you want to knit with two strands, you will get this gauge: 26 -28 stitches to 10 cm/4″

What is it?
Tencel is an ecologically sustainable organic material, made from wood chips primarily from beech and eucalyptus trees. The trees are FSC certified and the wood chips originate from the natural thinning of forests and as byproducts of other timber production.

Tencel is the most sustainable material made under excellent environmental considerations.

Tencel’s uniqueness.
The fibres’ composition from beech and eucalyptus make the Tencel material really comfortable against the skin. The fibre’s smooth structure makes the yarn softer than silk and smoother for the skin than wool and cotton, and is also super absorbent.

The thread can be more loosely spun in some places than others, which is a natural part of the thread’s character. The finished result is so lovely.
