Crochet Cables are easy to make. To make a cable you simply skip a number of stitches, work into the next stitch or stiches then work back into the skipped stitches. For a 4 stitch cable, you would skip 4 sts, work into the next 2 sts, then work into the 2 sts skipped to created crossed crochet stitches that will form a cable like pattern.
The below video shows crochet cables being made with double treble crochet, however cables can be made with treble, half treble and double crochet stitches, the height of the stitch will impact the finish look of the cable.
