Cable Beanie Yarn and Pattern Knitting Kit

Knitted flat which makes it a great pattern for beginners learning cables or for more experienced wanting a easy knit cable beanie.

Uses only 1 x 50g ball of Merino Yak yarn

Choose from a vareity of colours.

KIT CONTENTS: 1 x 50g ball Laines Du Nord Merino Yak and PDF pattern.

You will also need 5.50mm Straight Knitting Needles to buy needles click here.

Plus a yarn needle, pom pom maker or ready made pom pom

Beanie shown in images was made in Old Rose.

Finished measurement: Head circumference: 18½” (47 cm), stretching to fit up to 22” (56 cm).

Beanies fit most men and women.

Materials: 1 x 50g ball Laines Du Nord Merino Yak, 1 pair 5.50mm straight knitting needles, pompom maker or faux fur pompom, wool needle.

Abbreviations: K=Knit, P=Purl, st(s)= stitch(es), tog=together, *=repeat whatever follows the * as indicated, () = work in parenthesis as indicated

NOTES: Beanie is knitted flat then seamed.

Tension:  20 sts-10cm -laid flat over cable pattern

ABOUT MERINO YAK YARN

70% extrafine Merino wool, 15% Alpaca, 15% Yak blend.

A Merino combined with Yak, with a slight percentage of Alpaca, and here is a precious and soft yarn that you will immediately fall in love with.

Suitable for all stitch patterns, the warm and dusty colours are designed in different shades that make it easy to choose for multi coloured work.
