Easy 8ply Knitted Beret Pattern
Knitted Flat using yarn double so knits up quick. Uses ony knit and purl stitches making it suitable for beginners.
Materials: 2 x balls Yarn Cub Simply Natural Eco Cotton/Merino, 1 pair 4.50mm and 1 pair 8mm knitting needles and yarn needle.
Abbreviations: K=Knit, P=Purl, K2tog=knit 2 together, RS=Right Side, WS=Wrong Side, st/s=stitch/es, garter stitch=every row knit, rem=remaining, rep=repeat, M1=make 1 stitch by picking up loop between last and next st and work into back of this loop.
NOTES: Hat is made using 2 strands of yarn held together and knitted flat then seamed with mattress stitch.
Tension: 12 sts by 22 rows over garter st using 2 strands to 10cm.
